We booked this restaurant for our one day visit to Angers after reading the reviews. We were disappointed not only by the cafe like seating arrangements, but also by the dishes that were served. The "amuse bouche" was pretty ordinary and lacked taste. The first course with the foie gras was also disappointing. It was smoked and had a taste which did not appeal to me. I wish they had mentioned that it was smoked before ordering! The main dish with turbot was probably the best dish, although the whole carrot was undercooked and impossible to cut with a fish knife. The chocolate dessert looked deconstructed to me and lacked the variety of flavours that the menu promised. My husband had the cheaper menu. His first course wasn't great success, ordinary. The lamb in the main course was too chewy for it to be "confit". We were allowed four tiny morsels of overripe cheeses. The dessert was a disaster - not fresh and inedible. As a result one coffee was not charged. The menu was obtained via the QR code except that we could not open the link. We finally received a paper version of the menu but we're given a small smartphone to check their wine list which was most confusing and long. All in all, this restaurant did not live up to our expectations. The food was unnecessarily rich and I suffered from indigestion all night.
